Well, the emails keep coming in with lots of
guesses, but no winner so far.
What are they about?
The other day in your Daily Tip, I mentioned a
substance I used to help me recover more quickly
from being ill. This was in response to people
asking me what I took to get better, do I take
medicine at all, and so forth.
As I said the other day, I very rarely take
medicine of any type. Not even aspirin or
ibuprofen. I am blessed with good health and
I rarely get sick.
But, I also have to stress that I tend not to take
any meds even on the rare occasion when I contract
a bad cold, virus or flu.
I let my system work it out on its own. Our bodies
have remarkable mechanisms for cleansing and
healing. The typical remedies that are available
allegedly can help you feel more comfortable, and
allegedly can help accelerate the illness.
Personally, I have not found this to be true.
I think they tamp down the body's response so that
you actually stay sick longer. And the side effects
of the meds leave me feeling as bad as the illness
itself.
Of course, everyone's experience is different, and
you have to do what works best for you. This is
just my way.
However, I do believe in giving my body a
boost during the recovery phase. Because once the
acute phase of an illness is over, your body needs
help restoring its energy and vigor. To accelerate
this, I take a particular supplement.
So far, no one has guessed the correct one.
Which is unfortunate, because what I take is
one of the least expensive supplements available.
And it does so much good for you, from enhancing
physical vigor to recovery from illness.
It's even a stress fighter!
And it's good for your lungs...very important
to know about if you have asthma.
I actually go into great detail about this
super supplement that don't get no respect
